VSNX is architected on a zero-telemetry and local-first security foundation. We prioritize your digital intellectual property and never retain your unencrypted media.
Zero Cloud Telemetry
Video encoding is executed 100% on your local workstation or server. Raw media never touches VSNX servers.
AES-256 Binary Cipher
Military-grade cryptographic envelopes wrap every video chunk. Keys are generated locally with zero escrow.
In-Memory WASM
Browser playback decodes inside WebAssembly isolated sandbox memory directly to Canvas GPU. Zero disk caches.
01 Information We Collect
VSNX Video DRM provides software tools (CLI converter, Studio desktop app, Web Player SDK) designed with privacy-by-design principles. We strictly limit information collection to what is essential for commercial licensing and support:
- Account & Billing Data: Name, business email, invoicing address, and transaction identifiers when you purchase a license. We do not store full credit card or banking credentials.
- License Verification Metadata: Serial number, public IP address, and authorized domain binding hash during online activation handshakes.
- Technical Support Telemetry: Crash logs or diagnostic payloads voluntarily provided by your engineering team to resolve compatibility issues.
02 How We Protect Your Media Files
Unlike traditional SaaS video hosting platforms that upload your raw master video to third-party transcoding servers:
Local-First Guarantee:
VSNX never receives, hosts, or has access to your original course videos, teaching materials, or user recordings. All encryption takes place on your dedicated hardware.
The resulting .vsnx encrypted binaries are deployed directly to your own static cloud storage (e.g., Cloudflare R2, AWS S3, BunnyCDN). VSNX holds zero custody over your distribution pipeline.
03 Dynamic Forensic Watermarking & Viewer Privacy
When utilizing the dynamic watermark module on your learning portal, your application frontend passes viewer identification tokens (such as user ID or email) directly to the local WebAssembly canvas renderer.
This information is rendered exclusively on the client display buffer to deter screen recording. It is never transmitted back to VSNX central servers.
04 Data Retention & Your GDPR/CCPA Rights
Under GDPR and relevant data protection laws, you retain full rights to:
- Request a copy of your stored license registration details.
- Request the deletion or anonymization of your contact information upon license expiration.
- Opt-out of product update newsletters at any time with a single click.
