01 Grant of Commercial License
Subject to the terms and payment of the applicable license fee, VSNX grants the Licensee a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to:
- Install and execute the VSNX CLI batch encoder and VSNX Studio GUI application on internal production workstations.
- Encode unlimited hours of audio-visual media into the proprietary
.vsnxcontainer format. - Embed the VSNX Web Player SDK on the registered domain names specified during license acquisition.
- Distribute static encrypted video files across global CDNs without paying additional streaming royalties to VSNX.
02 Domain Activation & Key Verification
Each commercial license is authenticated via a cryptographic domain signature. When the VSNX Web Player initializes in the browser:
Host Verification: The WebAssembly player checks the current window.location.hostname against the license signature.
Subdomain Flexibility: Subdomains (e.g., academy.domain.com and courses.domain.com) are covered under the registered apex domain in Studio & Enterprise tiers.
03 Restrictions & Non-Transferability
The Licensee agrees strictly NOT to:
- Sub-license, rent, or lease the VSNX software or license keys to unaffiliated third-party entities.
- Modify, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the underlying WebAssembly binary engine.
- Extract proprietary codecs or cryptographic keys embedded within the runtime modules.
04 Termination & Remedies
VSNX reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately and revoke all issued license keys without refund if the Licensee commits a material breach of this EULA or engages in unauthorized redistribution of software binaries.
